As the title says, abortion is not the problem…. it’s merely a symptom. I say this with the abortion practices and their workers in mind. I think of the shackles over their eyes and their hearts of stone.
My prayer for them is such,
Lord, may their eyes shudder as they see the blood on the operating floor which they will be reckoned for.
Lord, may the doctors and their assistants’ hands tremble as they hold their instruments.
Lord, may the anger they show turn to sorrow.
Lord, may they tell themselves your truth rather than feeding lies to themselves and others to justify their actions.
Lord, may they see that they are profiting from poor and desperate choices rather than a quick transaction.
Lord, may you remove the ignorance from the workers, so they can see the depravity of their work and come to an understanding of what helping women really means.
Lord, through your mercy may they receive the second birth, so they won’t be subject to final death.
And finally, Lord, may we bow our heads and recognize that we need your Grace just as they do.
